Bring 5 - 7 pictures taken at recent events or any other photos you want to show off.
As usual, bring your photos on a thumb drive that contains only those photos or a folder with only those photos in it to make it easy for our projectionist.
The theme for the next City Hall Gallery is Water.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
Each photographer can submit up to 5 photos.
Photos must have been taken after June 22, 2014.

John Michael Bullock
Florida-based photographer specializes in underwater photography. John Michael graduated from Daytona State College with an A.S. in Photographic Technology and recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with his B.S. in Photography. He turned his passion for SCUBA diving and photography into a productive lifestyle and career.
We had a great time at last Monday's Tech Night learning about different ways to combine technology with our photography. While none of us consider ourselves experts, Paula, Jayne, Frederic and I set up stations covering Lightroom, Instagram, Zenfolio and a few Nik and Topaz plug-ins. Members chose a starting station, explored these areas for a while and then rotated to another area.
Everyone enjoyed the format and wanted more so we will be holding another tech night soon. If there's a subject area you think we should cover or you'd like to demonstrate please let us know. If you participated in tech night, or even if you didn't, try something new and bring the results to our photo review along with your field trip photos.
Going to club meetings, field trips and other photo outings always offers the opportunity to learn something from a fellow photographer. Sometimes it's something totally unexpected and might not even be directly related to photography. I recently joined some friends on a photo outing to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Park. One of them shared the Alexander Technique to efficiently climb the 203 steps to the top. That's a lesson I won't soon forget.

The Oviedo Veterans Tribute honors the courage and sacrifice of those who served or are serving in the armed forces of the United States of America and provides the citizens of the Oviedo area a place to remember and thank those veterans who committed themselves to protecting our rights and freedoms.
The City of Orlando Historic Preservation Board is seeking photographs for the 2017 Historic Preservation Board Calendar Contest. The 2017 Calendar theme is "Verticality in Architecture". Deadline is July 8, 2016 @ 5pm.
Sanford Historic Trustseeks black and white photographs for the 2017 Images of Sanford calendar.
Thirteen photographs will be chosen for the 2017 calendar. This year's theme: This is Sanford. Photographs of street scenes, storefronts, restaurants, waterfront, outdoor sports, homes, porches, holidays, and Sanford events will be considered.
